The kickoff event for the new Rotary Year has started off slowly! Keep in mind that we are doing this for our young people to provide scholarships for college and participation in our Rotary Youth Leadership Award (RYLA) Conference at Stockton University in June 2024.
Without club support, we are at a standstill. So please, reach out to our community businesses, or your own business, as a tee sponsor or for a "hole in one" prize.
As Rotarians who serve our communities, let's make this event possible for our Youth. Please read our GOALS below for more information!

This can be a relatively easy yet profitable event if we all chip in, and the sooner we do, the sooner we can reach our goals and then we’ll only have to host the actual event on October 1.
Our goals are as follows:
- Sell at least 36 tee sponsors at $100 per tee. These will be placed at the tee and around the hole area of each of the 18 holes. This would give us $3600 (minus the cost of creating the tee signs, which won’t be expensive).
- Have 18 hole-in one prizes (this would give all participants multiple opportunities to win prizes, adding to the fun). We would like this event to be somewhat family focused so if we could find hole-in-one prizes that are family/parent/children oriented that would be great.
- Have at least 72 golfers. This would give us a true shotgun start (a foursome per hole) and every golfer the same opportunity to win prizes. This would net us $720.
- We will also have volunteer opportunities (maybe HS students) as we will need hole watchers throughout the course to verify the hole-in-ones.
